Diricawl- Diricawl is originally from Mauritius. Plump, with soft feathers, this bird does not fly and is known for its method of escape in the face of danger: it disappears in a second in the midst of a noise of feathers to reappear elsewhere (Phoenix has this same ability). Interestingly, the Muggles were aware of the existence of Diricawl in the past, although they called it "dodo". Without knowing that the Diricawl can disappear whenever they want, the Muggles were convinced that the species had become extinct, but as this fact seems to have contributed to increasing the Muggles' awareness of the danger of indiscriminately slaughtering other living beings, the International Confederation de Sorceradores never considered it appropriate for the Muggles to know that the Diricawls continued to exist.
