Magical Creatures

Erkling- The Erkling is a creature from the family of elves originally from the Black Forest, in Germany. it is bigger than a gnome (about ninety centimeters tall), with a pointed face and a sharp cackle. Particularly charming for children, which he tries to lure away from adults in order to eat them. Strict controls by the German Ministry of Magic, however, managed to drastically reduce the deaths caused by the Erklings during the last centuries and the last known Erklings attack on the little six-year-old wizard Bruno Schmidt resulted in the death of Erkling when the young Schmidt hit him hard on the head with his father's collapsible cauldron.
