Hodag- The Hodag has horns, bright red eyes, and long fangs. It's the size of a big dog. The magic of the Hodag lies largely in its horns, which when crushed make humans immune to the effects of alcohol and capable of not sleeping for seven days and seven nights. Like the Snallygaster, the Hodag is an American creature, whose nonsense considerably encourages the interest and curiosity of the Muggles. It feeds largely on Mooncalfes and is therefore attracted to the Muggles at night. MACUSA's SemMag Disinformation Department has endeavored to convince the Muggles that the sightings of Hodags are pure illusion. This species is currently confined to a protected area near Wisconsin.
