Knarl- Knarl (Northern Europe and America) is often mistaken by Muggles for a hedgehog. The two species are in fact indistinguishable, with the exception of an important behavioral difference: if the hedgehog's food is left in the garden, he will accept the delighted offer. If the same is repeated to Knarl, he will think that the owner of the house is trying to lure him into a trap and will attack the plants in the garden savagely. Many Muggle children have been accused of vandalism to this day when the real culprit was a Knarl who was offended.
