Winged Horse- Winged horses exist everywhere. There are several races, including the Abraxan (immensely powerful giant palominos), the Aethonan (brown, popular in Great Britain and Ireland), the Granian (gray and particularly fast) and the very rare Thestral (black, endowed with the gift of invisibility and considered by many sorcerers as bearers of misfortune). As with Hipogrifs, the owner of a Winged Horse must regularly perform a disillusionment spell on him.
